Programs We Perform

We offer a wide range of high quality of teaching and extra-curricular activities.

Children’s and Youth Programs

Discrepancies in STEM start early. Sizable gaps in math and science skills between minority children and their peers appear before they enter school. By eighth grade, students of color are half as likely to be proficient in Math. (Minnesota Department of Education, 2013)

Math, Reading, Computer Literacy Courses

We offer intensive math, reading, and computer literacy online courses for K-12 students. Each course is based on proven methodologies and uses interactive educational technologies to help children build the skills needed for all-around academic success.

Code to Succeed! STEM education program

Our after-school STEM education program engages children and youth in hands-on learning experiences that bolster problem-solving and innovative thinking skills. Under the guidance of STEM professionals, our students tackle real-world problems through meaningful activities that build strong content-knowledge and encourage collaboration and creativity.

Digital Skills Certification

To help youth attain the 21st-century skills needed to achieve academic success, we offer a range of courses designed to improve digital competencies. This includes courses on basic to advanced programming and computer literacy. All of our courses are taught by professionals with STEM field experience and incorporate online learning content, official Microsoft Academic courses, and classroom curriculum.
To make our programs accessible to all children and youth, we offer full scholarships for eligible families.

Connect

Mobile Citizen Affordable Internet Access Program

In Minneapolis, African-American families are 4x more likely to not have internet access at home. (Minneapolis Community Technology Survey) Disparity in internet access has wide-reaching effects, including lesser access to crucial educational resources, social services, and job opportunities.
We have partnered with Mobile Citizen to connect low-income families with affordable home internet access to combat the social inequities that arise from a lack of access to modern information and communication technologies

Place

21st-century Employment Programs

We empower young adults by helping them secure employment through the job search and resume assistance. We also provide access to online job banks and connections to employers in the local community.
For young adults seeking to improve their employability, we also have a job readiness training program that addresses job retention skills and digital literacy. Young people can also earn industry-recognized certifications in highly-sought skills through our Microsoft Imagine Academy courses.
